Abstract
This mixed media composition was created as a part of the AIU Divine Creation competition 2025, by Jewellara Jumma, from SCAD. The artwork is entitled "Born Again" and received the honorable mention.
Description
At the center of the composition is a woman suspended within a spherical, self-contained world, symbolizing the birth of existence. She may represent a deity, Mother Earth, or the human soul, in divine contemplation or submission to cosmic forces. A ring around her midsection, resembling Saturn's rings, suggests creation governed by universal laws, cycles, and cosmic balance. The vast surrounding space frames this act of creation as part of a grander, divine order, linking humanity and the universe.
