Introduction to the Event
The Athletics Center – AIU Intramural Tournament, organised by the Athletics Center under the supervision of Coach Dejana Bajsic, was held on November19 and 20, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the AIU Football Pitch. With 380 students attending, the tournament brought together participants from various departments and student clubs to compete in a spirited multi‑sport championship designed to promote teamwork, school pride, and physical wellness.
Event Overview
The two‑day event featured a round‑robin tournament across football, volleyball, and basketball. House teams were grouped into two brackets:
Group A: Why Always Me, A.B, A‑Team, Haidoo
Group B: Bad Boys, 511, B 88 M FC, Shaheen Falcons
Scoreboards, department banners, and lively music contributed to a vibrant game‑day atmosphere. Student workers distributed snacks and supported event operations. A dedicated awards table displayed tournament trophies, plaques, and golden sports‑themed statuettes, enhancing the professional presentation throughout the event.
