Graduation & Commencement

American International University held its Third Annual Commencement Ceremony in 2024, celebrating the achievements of its graduating class across the Schools of Architecture & Design, Business, and Engineering & Computing. The event was presided over by Dr. Michael Pishko, AIU President, and featured keynote addresses from Ambassador Karen Hideko Sasahara, U.S. Ambassador to Kuwait, and Dr. Fuad Al Ali, former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Kuwait University. Graduates were honored in a formal academic procession, with degrees conferred by university leadership, including Dr. Fayza Al-Kharafi, Chair Emeritus of the Board of Trustees. The event concluded with a reception for graduates and guests.

The event featured speeches from university leaders and students, live streaming for global audiences, and heartfelt celebrations marking the achievements and future aspirations of the Class of 2025.
