Description:
During the Fall semester of 2019, the American International College (AIC) hosted the AFCENT (United States Air Forces Central Command) Band (6 members) in collaboration with the Embassy of the United States of America in Kuwait for a performance that was part of the Embassy’s annual event ‘Discover America 2019’ in its seventh Edition. A number of students, faculty, and staff attended the performance that was held in the auditorium. Attendees included, amongst others:
- Mrs. Areej Al-Ghanim: Member of the Board of Trustees and the General Director of the American Baccalaureate School (ABS)
- Dr. Maria Crummett – President
- Dr. Mousa Mohsen – Vice President for Academic Affairs
- Dr. Atheer Matroud - Assistant Professor of Computer Science
- Mr. Biju Thomas – Finance
- Dr. Asmaa Alduhaim – Assistant Professor of English

Additionally, students from ABS attended the event, as well as some visitors, along with media personnel who covered the event, and interviewed Mrs. Areej Al-Ghanim.
