On Monday, March 21, 2022, the campus of American International University played host to a duo of acclaimed artists. Kate Daudy, world-renowned visual artist, and Kostya Novoselov, a Nobel Prize-winning physicist and visual artist worked in tandem to bring ‘At The Violet Hour’ to the AIU community. The exhibit harmoniously ties together the disciplines of art and science creating a unique aesthetic both visually and conceptually.

Ambassador Al Nasafi inspires the next generation of leaders at AIU

Learning outside of the classroom is crucial for students to expand on their previously learned knowledge. Hosting visiting artists, motivational speakers, experts in their fields, and distinguished dignitaries is one way AIU meets their students’ educational needs. Ambassador Jamal Al Nasfi visited students from Dr Yasmine Hasnaoui’s Political Science class. This interaction afforded her students an opportunity to engage with the ambassador on a personal level and learn from his many years of valuable experience.

American International University celebrates ‘Night of Historic Firsts’

AIU introduces Art Lounge to showcase students’ works

Student art and designs can be seen in abundance around the critically acclaimed, award-winning campus. Just above the main reception area, outside of the campus auditorium, AIU has designed the Art Lounge, an area dedicated to showcasing student art. Displaying students’ work is crucial to their development as artists and designers as it generates motivation, cultivates a community of artists, and empowers future artists.
