My artwork, Divine Covenant: Noah's Ark, aims to capture the essence of this biblical miracle, emphasizing God's strength, mercy, and guidance. Through cautious composition, shade choices, and symbolism, I sought to convey the profound non-secular importance of this narrative. Composition and Color: Balancing Chaos and Order. The composition centers on the Ark, placed at a dynamic perspective to symbolize movement and reason. Surrounding the Ark are stylized waves in varying shades of blue, representing both the detrimental pressure of the flood and the existence-giving nature of water. The Ark is rendered in warm, earthy tones, highlighting its construction as an act of obedience to divine coaching. The use of colored pencil provides texture and depth, grounding the Ark in a tangible reality amidst the chaos of the flood. Symbolism: Calligraphy as a Visual Invocation A key detail of the artwork is the inclusion of Arabic calligraphy, which ornaments the Ark. This calligraphy isn't simply ornamental; it serves as a visual invocation of issues, which include mercy, protection, and divine steering. The comparison between the difficult calligraphy and the fluid, stylized waves underscores the duality of divine energy—judgment and mercy, destruction and salvation. Inspiration and Connection to Faith. In developing this piece, I drew inspiration from the rich lifestyle of Islamic art, especially its use of calligraphy as a non-secular and artistic expression. This effect connects the visible representation of the Ark to its deeper non-secular, which means, bridging the space between artwork and religion. The artwork is a celebration of divine creation, reminding visitors of God's enduring promise and the electricity of faith. Conclusion: Through Divine Covenant: Noah's Ark, I hope to rouse a feeling of awe and mirrored image, inviting visitors to ponder the spectacular nature of this story and its relevance to our lives these days.
