Sketched with burnt sienna and used thin layers for the sea and thick layers for the trees and clouds to add dimension. Colors like titanium white, ivory black, ultramarine blue, cerulean blue, cadmium red, cadmium yellow, and dioxazine purple were used. Despite challenges with oil smells and brush cleaning, you enjoyed working on a large canvas. Mixing yellow and purple was tricky, but you resolved it by adding orange.This painting was created as a part of the AIU Divine Creation competition 2025, by Zahraa Hamed Alostath, who is majoring in Civil Engineering. The artwork is entitled "Morning Breaks".
