Abstract
This artwork was created as a part of the AIU Divine Creation competition 2025, by Zainab Alshammaa, who is majoring in the School of Architecture and Design. The artwork is entitled "Painted Lady Butterfly". The photograph won the 1st place in the Photography category.
Description
The limitless power of God Almighty is evident in the vast universe He created, commanding us to reflect on His miracles and the wonder of His creation. Vanessa cardui, the painted lady butterfly, showcases this divine artistry with its intricate wing designs formed by thousands of tiny scales. Living between 14-28 years, it undergoes metamorphosis, transforming from egg to larva, feeding stage, and pupa, before becoming a butterfly. My artwork captures this divine process, highlighting God's ability to create and manage all creatures, from the largest to the smallest atom, within a precise and perfect system.
