The colors that I used to paint this art piece were watercolors. I used a blue color to paint the clouds and made some spaces to create the illusion of clouds. As for the Virgin Mary, I used pencil colors to form her features and to color her clothes. Since they are easier to work with. I also added a cross necklace to make sure that the person who sees the drawing can detect her religion. I chose this painting because it looks like she has hope in God, and she is trying to get in contact with God through prayers. Also, the bible verse goes very well with the painting, which says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands”. This bible verse was my inspiration to paint blue skies. Since it made the painting look more hopeful. The Baroque period, defined by its dramatic use of color, contrast, and emotional depth, was an important era in art history. This style was heavily influenced by artists such as Guido Reni, who created works of art that still motivate audiences today. His masterpiece "The Immaculate Conception" is an outstanding example of the idealized beauty and spiritual intensity that characterized Baroque art. By using colder tones to suggest a sense of hope and divine connection, my version of this composition aims to offer a new perspective. This creative research demonstrates how classic works of art can be remade while keeping their essential themes of dedication and faith.
