dc.descriptionMy artwork, Reflections of Creation, explores the theme of divine creation through the simple yet powerful image of a cat gazing into its reflection. This moment represents the idea of self-awareness and the mystery of existence. The reflection in the window serves as a metaphor for the way life mirrors creation itself—both in the physical world and in deeper, spiritual ways. The cat, an everyday creature, becomes a symbol of all living beings, reminding us that every existence is part of something greater. The composition of the image is balanced, with the cat positioned slightly to the side, allowing both its physical form and its reflection to be clearly seen. This creates a sense of harmony, representing the dual nature of creation—the seen and unseen, the physical and the spiritual. The soft, natural lighting enhances the depth of the scene, with sunlight gently illuminating the cat’s fur. This light can symbolize the presence of a divine force that gives life to all creatures. The use of neutral and earthy tones in the image reinforces a natural and peaceful atmosphere.
