dc.descriptionIn this painting, I wanted to capture the beauty of nature and the wonder of creation. I chose a peaceful nighttime scene where the northern lights shine in the sky above tall, snow-covered mountains. Their colors reflect on the calm water, creating a magical and quiet atmosphere. I used shades of blue, green, and black to create contrast between light and shadow, showing the natural harmony of the scene. The strong, towering mountains represent power and greatness, while the dark trees add a sense of mystery. In the corner, I painted a small cabin to express solitude and peace, making the viewer feel connected to nature. I wanted this painting to show the feeling of amazement when looking at the vast universe. The dancing lights in the sky seem to tell a hidden story, inviting people to think about the beauty of creation. For me, this painting is more than just art—it is a way to share my love for nature and its wonders. I hope everyone who sees it feels calm and inspired, realizing how incredible the world around us is and appreciating the beauty of the Creator’s work.
dc.description.abstractThis Painting is created as a part of the AIU Divine Creation competition 2025, by Modey MYE ALThuwaini. The student is majoring in Biomedical Engineering. The artwork is entitled The Beauty of Nature in the Dark of Night. The painting, created on a 16-by-12-inch canvas with acrylic paint, won 3rd place in the competition.
