dc.descriptionMy artwork captures the essence of divine creation through the interplay of light and darkness, symbolising the cosmic forces that shape existence. The vast sky, filled with storm clouds and golden light, reflects the duality of creation—the tension between chaos and order, destruction and regeneration. The sun's piercing glow evokes a moment of divine intervention, as light emerges from darkness, much like the biblical "Let there be light" or the mythical birth of the universe from primordial darkness. The composition highlights this dynamic balance. The upper portion of the image is dominated by dense, dark clouds, representing the mystery and power of the unknown. Beneath them, soft, lit clouds radiate warmth and life, hinting at the divine presence. In the distance, a light rain appears as a heavenly veil, reinforcing the idea of ​​nature as an instrument of creation—water is essential for the emergence of life. Color and technique play an important role in evoking a spiritual experience. The contrast between the dark blues and grays of the storm clouds and the soft golden tones of the light symbolizes the eternal cycle of destruction and rebirth. This echoes the artistic styles of Romantic painters like J.M.W. Turner, who used light to create sublime, almost divine, atmospheres in his landscapes. Ultimately, my artwork presents a vision of divine creation as a harmonious, ever-evolving process. Whether viewed from a religious, mythological, or naturalistic perspective, it invites contemplation of the delicate balance of the universe, where light and darkness coexist to create life.
